Olivia Aguiar
Who am I?
I am a Biology PhD student studying under the advisement of Dr. Brent Sewall at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Currently I am an NSF Graduate Research Fellow and a Temple University Presidential Fellow. I received my BSc with Honors in Biology from UMass Dartmouth in 2022 and my MSc in Integrative Biology from Oklahoma State University in 2024. My research interests include behavioral ecology, disease ecology, and wildlife conservation and management. Currently, I am researching now bat populations in North America have been impacted by White Nose Syndrome and how to mitigate disease impacts.
Recent Events
August 2024- I began my PhD at Temple University with the Sewall Lab. Lab Link
July 2024- I graduated from Oklahoma State University with my MSc in Integrative Biology.
April 2024- I received the Outstanding Graduate Student award from Oklahoma State University's Integrative Biology Department.
